玻璃板液位计分为三种：透明型，反射型和观察镜型。液位计主要由液位计的阀体，上阀（燃气阀），下阀（液阀），排水阀，保险钢球等组成。当玻璃板有一些裂缝或损坏时，保险钢球会自动停止气体和液体的侧阀以避免或减少流动。因此，工人可以切断底阀进行处理。该系列产品稳定，密封可靠，安装简单，是检测各种中低压容器中液位的理想仪器。
将此液位计的上下凸缘与容器的上下凸缘连接以形成渗透器，则可以直接看到液体的高度。
